Tyme Productions, Inc.
The company was established in 1982 by Jimmy Jam & Terry
Lewis, who own and operate Flyte Tyme Productions. What started
out as two small studios in a 3,000 square foot building in
Minneapolis is now five studios in a 17,000 square foot building
in Edina, south of Minneapolis. Seven peopleproduction
and administrative staffwork for Flyte Tyme, which is
a private facility and is not open for public use. |

Established in 1984, Flyte Tyme Tunes is the publishing company
for the songs written by Jimmy & Terry. The company is licensed
by ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers).

in 1989 as a joint venture between Third Eye Imagery, Inc.,
and A&M Records. Artists released on Perspective Records include
Sounds Of Blackness, Mint Condition, Lisa Keith, Lo-Key, Solo,
KRUSH, Ann Nesby, Raja-Nee, Bobby Ross Avila, Drama, Rufus Blaq,
Smooth, the Mo' Money soundtrack, and the Kazaam
soundtrack. |

Perspective Publishing, Inc.
In 1990, Jimmy & Terry created New Perspective Publishing
as a publishing company for songs written by ASCAP (The American
Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) writers that
have signed with Jimmy & Terry. |

Established in 1997, this is a publishing company for songs
written by ASCAP writer James "Big Jim" Wright and
signed to Jimmy & Terry. Licensed by ASCAP. |

into a joint venture dealthe result was a new record label,
Flyte Tyme Records. Artists released on Flyte Tyme Records include
Angela Grant and the How Stella Got Her Groove Back soundtrack.
In 2000, Flyte Tyme entered another joint venture deal, this
time with Arista Records. |
