Although requests
for contributions are accepted throughout the year, it is our policy
to limit charitable donations to June and December.
Charitable donations
are made only to tax exempt 501(c)(3) organizations in the area
of Arts and Humanities, Education, Human Services and Community
Development. The following guidelines have been established for
distribution of charitable corporate contributions.
It is our established
policy to make contributions of money and services in fulfillment
of an acknowledged responsibility for assisting local and regional
organizations engaged in nonprofit activities designed to improve
the economic and social well-being of children.
Contributions will be made only to associations and organizations
and not directly to individuals.
Contributions will be made only to organizations able to provide
evidence of 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status verified by the Internal
Revenue Service of the United States. Government agencies are
not required evidence of status. Exceptions may also be made in
the case of local organizations and projects that are clearly non-profitable
and charitable in nature where under-privileged children are involved.
Contributions
will not be made to political parties, or candidates, purely social
organizations, sectarian religious institutions, or for social events
of otherwise qualified organizations.
Contributions will not be made to individual churches or strictly
sectarian organizations; support may be given to religious organizations
that provide humanitarian services on a completely non-sectarian,
non-proselytizing basis.
It is our policy
to avoid commitments for contributions for more
than a single year. Each solicitation for funds is reviewed to determine
whether a grant will establish a precedent or a commitment for future
giving. Beneficiaries are advised that a contribution in one year
is not to be construed as an indication
that support will be continued on a periodic basis.
Our contribution program does not include the purchase of tickets
to dinners for presentation of awards, fundraising, or to honor
an individual or organization.
Contributions
will not be made for specific support or the subsidization of publications
such as newspapers, newsletters, brochures, magazines, or books
published by either profit or non-profit organizations or associations.
Contributions
will not be made to organizations whose primary reason for existence
is to influence legislation on the local, state or federal governmental
levels.
There is no specific form for submission of a request for contribution.
However, the request must be in writing and must include sufficient
data to permit Flyte Tyme to determine if the provisions of these
guidelines are met.
You will receive
a written response from us. Please do not call us regarding the
status of your request.
